We thank the WF PRCA for teaming up with us on Tough Enough to Wear Pink night at rodeo! We celebrated breast cancer survivors, and reminded all of the importance of getting timely mammograms. The PRCA will be making a donation to our Mammography Fund. 💕

Meet many who are “boots on the ground” in the fight to improve community health. 🩺 Located at the Transition Clinic, these angels are nurses, high-risk navigators, community health workers, and more!

They personally work with discharged hospital patients who need follow-up care yet are facing socioeconomic challenges that create barriers. This staff leaves no stone unturned in working to help patients who often have no other options for treatment. The COMMUNITY CARE FUND is a vital resource, providing medications, transportation to medical appointments, medical supplies, and more.

We are thrilled to welcome Paula Parks, NP, to our Board of Directors! Paula is a Nurse Practitioner at United Regional’s Transition Clinic, where she leads the High Needs Medical Program. This unique program helps many of the most vulnerable in our community find a path to improved health.

Paula is excited to serve on the Foundation board, commenting, “I agreed to serve because I truly believe I am making a big difference in the lives of those that cross our threshold at Transition Clinic. I want to also make a difference on a bigger scale in Wichita Falls.”

She added, “I am looking forward to meeting the other board members and working alongside them to better lives at URHCS and throughout our city, especially as we start this new era with a new CEO.”

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Paula is proud of her family! Her gentle caring nature allows her to connect with others easily, a skill that serves her in every aspect of her life. Paula’s hobbies include: crochet, reading, and playing games with my family.

Please join us in welcoming Maggie Brumley to our Board of Directors! Maggie is a Realtor/Principle at the Bishop Realtor Group who has a passion for serving the community.

Maggie commented, “I became passionate about serving on the United Regional Foundation Board after having my daughter in 2021. She was born two months early and had the privilege of being cared for by the staff at United Regional for 5 weeks. Our community is so fortunate to have this hospital serving so many counties, making quality healthcare accessible to so many. I am very excited for the future!”

She added, “Seeing the difference the Foundation makes in people's lives is extraordinary. You don't realize how impactful it is until you are the one who needs it. I cannot wait to give back.”

For hobbies, Maggie enjoys gardening, hand embroidering (mostly kids clothes), traveling and spending time outside chasing her busy toddlers. We are very grateful to have Maggie on our team, sharing her gifts to strengthen our community! 🧡
