A huge announcement highlighted our celebration, marking the start of construction on our NICU expansion. The McCoy Foundation has blessed us with a $1,000,000 gift! Vicki McCoy was on hand to mark the occasion, along with trustees Ken Hines, John Luig, and Nancy Marks. "We like to give our money to organizations who spend it well and provide good service. We're very proud to partner with United Regional on this project," said Ken Hines. This gift, added to others, including an earlier million-dollar lead gift from Johnson Family, has given the project great momentum.
The NICU will be constructed in 4 phases to allow the ongoing delivery of babies. When complete in 2027, it will be the only NICU within 100 miles, providing highly specialized care to infants and families right here at home. "We are humbled and grateful for the outpouring of support for our project, which will serve our precious, tiniest patients.
