As we continue to honor our physical therapy team this month, today we shine the spotlight on Timothy Harris, PTA, who has been a valuable member of our Physical Therapy team for 12 years. He attended Delgado Community College, where he earned his Associate of Applied Science degree, and then earned his license as a physical therapist assistant. Timothy finds his greatest reward in helping patients rehabilitate so they can return home and live independently. He also enjoys teaching residents how to progress and perform activities they thought they were incapable of doing.

His inspiration to work in the physical therapy field came from his grandmother and a physical therapist who visited his school. Timothy considers Jesus to be his role model and strives to reflect His character in everything he does. He also shared, "Our therapy team at Advanced is like family; the whole team is encouraging, and I have learned so much from them."

Chase Wright, PTA, is another one of our outstanding members of the Physical Therapy Team at Advanced Rehab. His passion for this field grew after he experienced an athletic injury and saw the impact of physical therapy on recovery. He credits several role models for shaping his path, including the therapy team that helped him heal, mentors from his time as a PT tech, and his college professors. Chase values building relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds and finds joy in their progress, stating, "Even the little things are sometimes the biggest." His biggest challenges are dealing with insurance policies and medical complications that hold patients back who would greatly benefit from physical therapy. Outside of work, Chase enjoys life with his wife, Shayna, who is also a PTA, and their two daughters, Anastasia and Londyn.

Noreen Rosario, PTA, has been with Advanced for 13 years this February. She enjoys her work because it allows her to connect with various patients, understand their stories, and face their challenges. Originally from the Philippines, Noreen was an optometrist before pursuing her dream of working in physical therapy in the United States.

The most rewarding part of her job is seeing patients who are weak and in pain gradually improve and return home. She sometimes finds it challenging to motivate patients who are discouraged from engaging in their treatment plans, but she reassures them that recovery is possible.

Noreen and her husband have two children in college. She expressed gratitude for being part of the supportive Advanced team, especially during her husband's battle with cancer, when the team provided prayers and encouragement. Noreen is a valuable asset to the Advanced Therapy team.

Renee Cunningham, PTA, has been a valuable member of the Advanced team for nearly 10 years, bringing 26 years of experience in physical therapy.

Renee finds the most rewarding part of her job is watching a patient, to whom she has dedicated time and effort, walk out the door on their way back home—a true testament to their progress. Often, these patients return to visit and share how well they are doing. She also finds fulfillment in working with residents in the facility to enhance their ability to perform daily activities with less assistance.

Renee was inspired to become a therapist after her grandmother suffered a stroke. Her grandmother was a strong-willed woman who refused to participate in therapy despite receiving encouragement. This experience ignited Renee's passion for helping others through therapy, as she believes that if her grandmother had engaged in treatment, she might have returned home.

One of her biggest challenges is navigating insurance companies that often limit the recovery time patients truly need.
In her spare time, Renee enjoys fishing and watching her children play sports. As a proud single mother of three adult children, she cherishes her family and has recently welcomed a wonderful daughter-in-law. Additionally, she has three beloved dogs that are spoiled rotten.

Kris Bischoff, PTA, has been a part of the Advanced Rehab therapy team for nearly 12 years. After earning his Associate of Applied Science Degree in Denver, Colorado, he moved to Texas, where Physical Therapist William Breland, PT, SCS, ASTYM, took him under his wing. Mr. Breland continues to be a great mentor and a source of encouragement. Kris credits him with teaching him invaluable lessons throughout his career, both as a therapist and in business.

Kris is unwavering in his dedication to patient care. He finds immense satisfaction in helping patients regain their strength and mobility, regain their independence, and see them discharged back home. "I love it when a patient tells me they are pain-free thanks to my help," Kris shared.

His desire to work in physical therapy was shaped by his childhood experiences with sports and a high school program that exposed him to various medical fields, particularly physical therapy. One of his biggest challenges is navigating Medicare Advantage insurance plans, which often limit rehabilitation time before their coverage ends.

Originally from Denver, Kris is a diehard Broncos fan and a competitive pool player, using the game as a stress-reliever. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Ana, an immigrant from Peru, for ten years. Most of his family still lives in Denver, where he takes every opportunity to visit them.
