With the slight drop in temperature this morning, we thought this bit of information might be helpful!

❄️ Why Cold Weather Can Make Your Back Ache ❄️

When temperatures drop, your spine can feel the chill too! Here’s why:
👉 Muscle tightness: Cold makes your muscles contract, leading to stiffness.
👉 Reduced blood flow: Less circulation = less flexibility.
👉 Heightened pain: Conditions like arthritis or sciatica may flare up.
👉 Less movement: Winter hibernation weakens back-supporting muscles.
👉 Pressure & fluid changes: Cold weather thickens joint fluid and lowers barometric pressure — both can increase discomfort.

🔥 Tips to stay comfy:
🚶🏼‍♀️Keep moving (stretch, walk, or do light yoga)
🌡Stay warm and dress in layers
🩻Maintain good posture
