Andre's birthday celebration continues. I love going to the movies with Andre. He is so expressive and cheered for Superman and would strike the Superman pose. I just love him♥️

Happiest of Birthdays to our special man, Andre. He turnes the big 33 today. Per his request, he had lunch with his friends at Panda Express, helped make himself a red velvet cake and got the Minecraft movie. On Wednesday he's going to see Superman and do a little personal shopping. Hope today was amazing Andre.

Day 2 of conference was even better than the first. Today's sessions were about team building, corporate culture and how strong teams create thriving environments for resident engagement and success. We also talked about challenging the status quo through innovation and creating opportunities to try new things instead of always staying safe in what we have always done.

Our most fun session today required us to name our walk-out song that would play if we were baseball players. This was hard to pick but I feel my song perfectly represents not only me but this amazing team I am honored to lead. You will hear us "Roar" as we show up, advocate, support, and celebrate those we serve!

I attended this conference in 1998 in San Antonio and it was one of the greatest trainings I have ever attended. Today did not disappoint! The amazing technology that is being developed for individuals with Autism almost made me cry! It's amazing the investment going into finding creative ways to teach and help people learn. Its also so inspiring to see providers making incredible strides in serving their population and being so inventive in providing opportunities. I'm so blessed to be able to be a part of this. I can't wait for tomorrow!!
