The misconception that we often have about depression and “funks,” is that we need to get back to feeling like or ourselves again.

While it is important to return to yourself, reflect and find comfort within the walls of your body; it’s equally important to allow the past to fade.

When we go into cycles of feeling down, out and disconnected from ourselves, I believe the universe is asking us to evolve. Don’t return to the persona that got you to this point. Evolve! Grow into the discomfort that you’re feeling.

Overall, be gentle with yourself. I love you! 🦋
