COZINE MEMORIAL GROUP ANNOUNCES NEW LIFE EVENTS CENTER

For several generations, the Cozine family and staff have been serving Wichita families with compassion and care through Broadway Mortuary. Continuing this legacy of service excellence and taking it to a new level, Cozine Memorial Group is pleased to announce they are building a new events center at their Kensington Gardens location in northeast Wichita.

The 15,800 sq. ft. Cozine Life Events Center will include spacious gathering areas, an outdoor patio, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, a large multipurpose events hall, arrangement suites, catering kitchen, Wichita-themed library and business offices. Cutting-edge audio and video capabilities will be available throughout the building.

“Wichita has been home to our family for five generations. We are continuing to invest in our community and provide families with the best possible care when it comes to funeral service,” says W. Ashley Cozine, president of Cozine Memorial Group. “We remain committed to serving the needs of grieving families and to honoring, celebrating and remembering lives well lived. This has been and always will be our primary goal.”
“With our constant focus on service, we recognize that families’ needs and expectations are changing. For instance, we see a growing demand for less-formal services with more emphasis on receptions and gatherings with food and beverages as well as full-catered meals. We are positioning ourselves to even better serve families with unmatched options and hospitality in an upscale venue that combines beauty, comfort and sophistication,” says Cozine. “With the addition of our new Life Events Center, we will be able to diversify as we will have the capability and perfect setting to offer families a place to also celebrate life’s other significant milestones, such as graduations, birthdays, wedding, retirements, anniversaries and more. Simply put, our Life Events Center will a venue to Celebrate the Seasons of Life.”

The Life Events Center is expected to open in the spring of 2021 at Kensington Gardens, 11500 E. 21st St. N., Wichita, KS 67206.

Law Kingdon and Law Company are the architects/general contractor for the project.
