I had such a wonderful day being spoiled by my amazing team for Boss’s Day! 💕 I truly love my team — and I can honestly say Keepsake Kottage has never been stronger, more united, or more connected than it is right now. We’re making history together, knocking out new goals both individually and as a family.

Thank you, Lord, for blessing me with a team that gets the mission — providing exceptional and compassionate care — and for the gift of Keepsake Kottage itself. It’s so much more than a workplace; it’s a family. We work hard, we laugh until we cry, we have our music parties (and let’s be honest — we’re usually worshiping Jesus while doing it 🙌).

I’m known to hide under desks and scare the crap out of everyone on the regular, honk when I pull up every morning just to get my team laughing, and keep everyone on their toes with surprises — but they give it right back to me! We’ve built something special here, a bond that’s real, genuine, and filled with purpose.

Since 2013, Keepsake Kottage has been setting the standard for what true teamwork, love, and compassion look like in senior care. I love every single one of you — my Keepsake family — and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built together. Here’s to many more years of laughter, growth, and doing God’s work with joy in our hearts. ❤️

My name is Kari Cameron, and I was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. I have been working in healthcare since the early 2000s, earning my CNA license in 2001. While I began pursuing a nursing home administrator license, I discovered the Home Plus model and chose to go in that direction instead, as it better aligned with my passion for providing personalized, compassionate care.

In 2013, I opened Keepsake Kottage, starting with one home. Over the years, we have grown to five homes, employing nearly 80 staff members, and serving many residents and their families. Keepsake Kottage has become a true family business, as I have the joy of working alongside my husband, my mother, and my sisters. Several of my nieces have even earned their CNA and CMA licenses to join our team and carry on the mission.

Kambren (19) and Kayden (15) are the joys of our lives. They have been the best boys, and like their mother, they have serving hearts. They’ve grown up surrounded by the mission of Keepsake Kottage and the values of faith, family, and service.

Faith plays a central role in my life. I love God, and I truly believe that without Him, none of this would exist. We keep God at the center of our lives, and I am living proof that any situation can be turned into something good when you live with purpose. I have a passion for serving my team, leading them with heart, and caring for the elderly. I absolutely love what I do, and because of that, I don’t feel like I work a single day—I am simply blessed to do what I love every day.

I married my best friend, Keith, in 2010. We started dating when Kambren was just three months old, and nearly two decades later, family and faith remain at the center of our lives. I come from a close-knit family with an older brother and two younger sisters, and I deeply value the roots and community ties I’ve built here in Wichita.

Looking ahead, Keepsake Kottage continues to grow, and we are excited about the opportunity to expand in the future while remaining true to our mission of compassionate, exceptional care.
