From Behavior Technician to Autism Specialist—congratulations to Kaycie Watkins!
Kaycie’s journey into the field of ABA is both inspiring and personal. Growing up with a brother who has special needs, her passion for helping others began early. At just 12 years old, she told her mom that one day, she’d work with kids like her brother—and six years later, that dream became reality when she began providing direct care services while pursuing her Psychology degree.
After graduation, Kaycie worked as a Community Case Manager before realizing her heart was still in supporting individuals with developmental needs. That realization led her to Little Stars, where she’s spent nearly five years growing her skills and deepening her love for this work.
Now, we’re proud to celebrate Kaycie’s promotion to Autism Specialist—a role she’s more than earned through her compassion, dedication, and leadership. She recently completed her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis and plans to sit for her BCBA exam before the end of 2025.
Looking ahead, Kaycie hopes to help expand access to ABA services in rural communities and support individuals who could benefit from ABA beyond traditional autism diagnoses.
Outside of work, you’ll find her baking, reading, and spending time with her family and pets—staying grounded in what matters most.
