Every minute, nearly 20 people in the U.S. experience domestic violence — that’s more than 10 million people every year.

Hope Medical Forensic Services , owned and operated by Tina Peck, our on-site forensic nurse here at the CACSC, provides compassionate care and support to those impacted by domestic violence.

The KBI released the 2024 Domestic Violence, Stalking, and Sexual Assault in Kansas report. It documented 21,911 incidents of domestic violence in Kansas. Of those incidents, 10,658 resulted in an arrest.

While it can be difficult to speak out, it is important to know that resources exist to help. If you, or someone you know, is experiencing domestic violence, report the crime to law enforcement.
