Fred Schmid is 92 years old, and still chasing adventure on the gravel roads of the Flint Hills. 🔥🚴‍♂️

We have heard about Fred for the last few years and we were equally inspired by his story again this year at Unbound Gravel!

At Open Range Physical Therapy, we love helping people stay strong and injury free so they can keep doing the activities they love- whether they are 12 or 92! 🚴🏼‍♂️🏃🏼🏌🏼‍♂️🏋️

We wanted to extend a big congrats to our client, Jarrod McCurry, on his impressive finish at the Dallas Marathon on Sunday! He persevered through warm and humid conditions to finish in 3:35:30!

What made his weekend even better was having his daughter, Paetyn, there with him. She cruised through the 8K race on Saturday!

Jarrod is a smart and disciplined runner, but what stands out even more is his perspective on what running means to him. Here’s what he shared with us recently:

"Running is my relief from stress, from worries, from sitting at a desk. It’s freedom, fresh air, and sunshine. It’s knowing I can overcome obstacles or push myself to new places. It’s feeling joy and appreciating the small things, through ups and downs and everything in between. It enriches my life in all ways."

We wanted to extend a huge congratulations to our client, David Keller! Last weekend, David achieved an incredible 7th place finish at the prestigious California International Marathon with an impressive time of 2:59:43.

This achievement places him 3rd all-time in Kansas for the marathon in the 55-59 age category. Congrats on a stellar race David! Your hard work and dedication are truly inspiring.
