Update 9/13
Well mom went back into the hospital today taken by EMS
Short of the story she started acting different again and slurring her words and couldn’t stand. They are running a battery of tests on her and I hope to God they figure out what are causing these spells ! Will update when more comes available and once all the kids know.

Sorry y’all I haven’t kept this page up I have a cold and just plum exhausted.

Mom and dad had a good first night back home I seen them today for a few minutes keeping my distance.
Terry and Austin also Robert did more on the front porch it is blue again. Angie has been working rather hard to declutter and arrange the house so that it is safe for mom to walk around.
Mom is kinda back to herself (pre hospital stay) she does forget and gets frustrated but has made a comment or two that her mind is slipping.

For those of you following
Both Dan and Rose have been discharged from the hospital: and both will be coming home. Instead of arose going to a rehab she is being dismissed home (I am unclear of this reasoning at this time)

As of today nothing is new with Dann or Rose. Still waiting on a rehab for Rose.

Good evening people

Dad is still in the hospital and still no real answers to why he is having blood in his kidneys.
Mom was doing pretty good until the Sun downers hit about 1630-1700 when it came on and she became pretty impulsive about going and seeing dad. Even after redirecting her she was fixated on just that. Dementia is a tricky thing. We all have to learn patience and have understanding of what this ”new” life she is living.

Most of you know what has all been going on with Dan and Rose.
Angie and I have decided to make a page so that anyone who is visiting or wanting to know how they can help can reflect on this page and see the progress they are making. Given Angie is the “go to source” it can be overwhelming juggling all of this alone and trying to answer all the text messages and phone calls can be time consuming . This is a very important informational page to allow those who are wanting to know or who comes and visit either of them can leave a memo here (I.e if mom is having therapy at certain times so your not making a trip to see her and can’t or if any changes that take place or concerns when you are visiting and think as a family needs to be passed on) this also allows everyone to know how they can help
Prepare their home for a safe return and how you can pitch in if you want.
Anyone not added please add them anyone wanting to decline can do so without judgment.
This page is not who has charge or who is wrong or right. Simply just little info to be passed along.
