Did you know sleep apnea in children can manifest in many ways? Some of the symptoms we see during consults include:
Respiratory Symptoms: Loud snoring, pauses in breathing during sleep (apnea), gasping or choking during sleep, mouth breathing, and difficulty breathing during the day.
Behavioral Symptoms: Daytime sleepiness or fatigue, irritability or mood swings, difficulty concentrating or paying attention, and hyperactivity. 😴
Other Symptoms: Headaches, night terrors, growth problems, wetting the bed even after being potty-trained, and difficulty waking up in the morning.
During our hour long consult, we'll discuss environment, habits, symptoms and more. Our goal is to help fix the root cause of your child's issues!
