Please help us welcome Dan Bigelow, T-LMFT, to Wichita Therapy Stop! You can schedule with him by calling 316-201-4063. Here's a little about Dan:

Dan Bigelow is a relationship-centered mental health professional with a rich background in education, communication, and systemic therapy. A 2025 graduate of Friends University’s Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy program, Dan is an active member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and brings a lifelong passion for learning and helping others into every therapeutic encounter.

Before entering the field of mental health, Dan earned degrees in English from the University of Minnesota (2002) and Elementary Education from Friends University (2018). His experience as a fourth-grade teacher deeply shaped his understanding of the importance of relationships—not only with children, but with the families and systems that support them. That insight continues to guide his work with clients of all ages.

Dan works with children (ages 5 and up), adolescents, adults, couples, and families. His clinical training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for individuals, Structural Family Therapy for families, and the Gottman Method for couples. He is currently expanding his theoretical knowledge into psychoanalytic approaches, driven by a curiosity for deeper emotional insight and systemic understanding.

Grounded in the belief that “life is about relationships,” Dan approaches therapy with empathy, clarity, and truth, fostering a collaborative spirit that honors each client’s unique journey.

Drugs aren’t just “a phase.”
They’re the biggest voluntary battle your kids will ever face.

👉 Once kids choose drugs, most spend the rest of their lives trying to convince themselves they’re in control.
👉 Others spend their lives chained to an addiction that steals their money, their friends, and their family.

💨 The #1 gateway drug you need to worry about right now? VA**NG.

✔️ V**e companies & social media spend millions to hook your kids.
✔️ There are 100 ways for your child to get a v**e — at school, online, in your own neighborhood.
✔️ Once they start, ni****ne isn’t the end. It’s the beginning. Cigarettes… and sometimes even harder drugs hidden in v**e pens.

One “harmless puff” can turn into a lifelong fight your child may never win.

⚠️ Talk to your kids NOW. Drugs. Alcohol. To***co. These aren’t small decisions — they’re life-changing choices with consequences that can last forever.

Happy Parenting,
Officer Gomez
