Seasonal Affective Disorder is a courageous journey that affects approximately 5% of the population, or over 16.4 million Americans. According lol np to Mental Health America, it's a testament to the strength and resilience of those who face it. Seasonal Affective Disorder is most commonly associated with fall and winter, but it can also be a chance to tap into our inner courage and persevere. It's more likely to affect adults with major depressive or bipolar disorder, but by acknowledging its impact, we can take the first step towards healing. And while it can be inherited, we can still choose to rise above it and live a life of purpose and meaning.

Some people find that their moods shift with the seasons, feeling more subdued during the shorter days of fall and winter, but more energized and hopeful with the arrival of spring. If you've noticed that your mood and behavior change significantly with the seasons, you might be experiencing seasonal affective disorder (SAD), a manageable condition that can be treated with the right approach.
Please contact us if you would like to learn to empower yourself during this difficult time.
