Tribute to a Real One: Sarah Warden
When we talk about grit, determination, and what it truly means to emerge from the darkness Sarah Warden is the living example.
From day one, Sarah didn’t just want sobriety she wanted purpose. She wanted to lead, to love on people, and to be the change. At a time when there wasn’t a position open, we almost lost her to another program. But we sat down, heart to heart, and told her: “If you can hold on, your time will come because real leadership doesn’t go unnoticed.”
And she did. She made the sacrifice. She stayed. She believed in the vision. And now? She’s a powerhouse.
Sarah started over from the ground up. She went to work, hit the books, got her CDL, became a semi truck driver, bought a brand-new Harley, and now operates a freakin’ crane.
She stays active in the gym, she uplifts the women around her, the men in program, and every day, she sets the tone in our Longfellow Women’s Sober Living house, and sets the example for her kids on what heart and determination looks like.
Sarah, thank you for your heart, your tenacity, and your unshakable leadership. YOU are what it looks like when the old dies, and the new THRIVES. ✨
