Dry needling is a treatment using sterile needles to treat issues such as myofascial restrictions, pain, tendinitis, etc.

The name comes from the fact that the needles are dry (no medications are injected using the needles).
•
Some potential benefits of dry needling are decreased pain, increased blood flow, improved healing response, and decreased muscle tension.
