Wesley Healthcare was proud to join the Spring 2026 Community Baby Shower and Resource Fair hosted today by the Sedgwick County Health Department’s Healthy Babies program and KIDS Safe Sleep.

At the event, our team shared safe sleep sacks, information about Wesley Women’s Hospital, guidance on high-risk pregnancy care and support for navigating labor and delivery.

"Our labor and delivery and NICU team is top notch," said Andrea Anderson, BSN, RN, CEFM, Birth Care Suites manager and Wesley Birth Equity Task Force leader. "We show up for our community." She also highlighted the importance of helping families know when to seek care right away if high-risk conditions arise.

Wesley offers comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies, with maternal-fetal medicine specialists experienced in caring for those with pre-existing health conditions, urgent complications and unexpected changes during pregnancy, labor and delivery.

At Wesley Healthcare, we know pregnancy comes with many questions and uncertainties. That is why we have nurse navigators dedicated to our maternity patients. Your nurse navigator answers your questions, helps coordinate your care and connects you to available resources.

Location Update: We’re staying!! To provide the best possible care during the Wesley Hospital parking garage construction, we have chosen to stay in our temporary location until further notice.

Today, we celebrate and thank Amanda for an incredible 13 years of service, dedication, and compassion at Wesley Women’s Care. For more than a decade, she has been a constant source of support for our clinic, our patients, and our physicians — touching countless lives in Wichita and beyond.

Amanda’s commitment to women’s health, her advocacy for patients, and her ability to connect with people in moments both joyful and challenging have left a lasting impact on our community. She has been more than a colleague — she’s been a friend, a mentor, and a fierce champion for the people we serve.

While Amanda’s journey with us is coming to a close, she isn’t leaving the reproductive health world. We know she’ll continue to make a difference, bringing her passion and expertise to new spaces and new challenges.

Amanda, we wish you nothing but the absolute best in your next chapter. Thank you for everything you’ve given to Wesley Women’s Care, the Wichita area, and the patients who have been lucky enough to know you. Good luck, and know that you will always be part of our family.
