Lets talk about lab work and vitamin D! 🌞

Vitamin D is SO important and a large percentage of us are chronically low. Most primary care providers do not routinely check vitamin D levels due to insurance requirements. That's okay....why? Because we can check it for you!

Low vitamin D can mimic many symptoms of hormone dysfunction and include the following in both men and women:

Mood changes such as anxiety or depression
Hair thinning/loss
Fatigue
Poor appetite
Muscle weakness/cramps
Weight gain
Increased risk of bone related weakening/injury/pain

If you have had a weight loss surgery such as gastric bypass or sleeve you are at a greater risk of low vitamin D due to poor absorption post op. You likely need to supplement throughout your lifespan.

Our in house lab draw is $30 and takes about 5 minutes to complete in our office. Results are generally back within 24-48 hours. A full review of your labs and recommendations will be made by one of our providers. We have a fantastic oral product available in our office for $40 and several package options available of our injectable product starting as low as $20 an injection.

Tonya comes from a vast background working in emergency medicine, pediatrics, and many years working as a traveling nurse exposing her to a wide array of health care challenges. She is a skin guru and holistic health is near and dear to her heart. Tonya is new to Wichita from Tennessee and is already making a name for herself in the community.
