We’ve been so moved by the support for our Resource Drive to help individuals and families impacted by the government shutdown — thank you to everyone who’s donated, shared, and shown up for our community. 💫

Because of YOUR generosity and the growing need, we’ve added more drop-off locations to make it easier to give!

📍 New Drop-Off Sites:

▪First Church of the Brethren, located at 1103 N. Jefferson (Shout out to Erin from Riverside Family Music for hosting this site!)
▪MVMT Fitness, located at 4608 W. Maple St, Suite 114 (Shoutout to Tiffany and her team at MVMT for hosting this site!)

🗓 Donations accepted through December 31!

We’re continuing to work closely with local community organizers and mobilizers to make sure every item donated goes where it will have the most impact.

This effort comes from some of our core values, collaboration and advocacy, and from recognizing the privilege and responsibility we have to give back. 💪

Thank you for being part of this effort — together, we’re making a real difference.

It’s not just “new mom worry.” Postpartum anxiety can look like: racing thoughts, needing constant reassurance, physical tension, intrusive “what if” fears. If this feels familiar, you’re not alone—and treatment works. You deserve support.

Share this with a new parent who might need to hear it.

Your sexuality includes: how you connect, how you feel in your body, your identity, your pleasure, your sense of self. When we broaden the definition, we take away shame and make space for curiosity and healing.

We are here to support you in your curiosity.

When most people picture depression, they imagine deep sadness or constant crying. But the truth is, depression doesn’t always look like that.

Sometimes depression shows up as:
😠 Irritability — snapping at loved ones or feeling easily frustrated.
😶 Numbness — struggling to feel joy or connection, like life is muted.
💻 Overworking — throwing yourself into tasks to avoid stillness.
🙅 Isolation — canceling plans, withdrawing, saying “I’m fine.”
😴 Physical symptoms — fatigue, sleep changes, or unexplained aches.

This is why depression is often misunderstood. On the outside, someone may look “functional” or even “fine,” while on the inside they’re fighting to get through the day.

If any of this feels familiar, you are not broken and you are not alone. Depression wears many disguises, but healing is possible — and support is available.

💙 You don’t have to go through this alone.

💛 Our Founding Sponsors 💛

When we walked into this empty space for the very first time, it was nothing more than walls and a big dream. We knew we wanted to create something special for Wichita families — but we also knew it would take a village to bring it to life.

That’s when these amazing local businesses stepped in. They didn’t just write their names on a sponsor wall. They believed in a vision that wasn’t even finished yet. They believed in us.

Because of them, Play & Party Co. became more than a play space. Their support allowed us to add the little touches, the big details, and the magic that make this place feel like home for so many families. Every laugh, every birthday party, every memory made inside these walls has their fingerprints on it.

We’ve always been about supporting local, and these sponsors are the perfect example of why it matters. They invested in families, community, and us. We highly encourage you to give them a follow, cheer them on, and keep them in mind when you need their services — because local businesses thrive when we show up for each other.

To our founding sponsors — thank you for being part of our story from the very beginning. Your faith turned an empty building into a space filled with joy, connection, and community. We will never forget that. 💛

When your nervous system is in fight, flight, or freeze, it’s almost impossible to connect. Your body is focused on survival, not intimacy — which means listening, being present, or feeling close can feel out of reach.

When your body feels safe and regulated, connection flows more easily. You can hear your partner more clearly, soften into closeness, and receive love without tension.

✨ Quick ways to regulate together:

Pause and take 3 slow breaths
Hold hands and notice the warmth or pressure
Step outside for fresh air
Gentle movement (walking, stretching, swaying)

Safety comes first. Intimacy follows. 💙

Save this for when you or your partner feel disconnected.

Many people think self-acceptance = complacency. In reality, when you accept yourself, growth becomes easier. You stop wasting energy on shame and start moving from compassion.

Save this for when self-criticism sneaks in.

Many of us tie our worth to productivity, but your body and mind need rest to function well. If you find it hard to slow down without guilt, that’s a sign your nervous system might be stuck in “go mode.” You’re not lazy—you’re human.

Save this reminder for when you need permission to pause.
