Watching a prenatal massage table come together is one of my favorite things 🤍

Pregnancy can bring so many changes to the body, especially in the hips, low back, and shoulders. One of the biggest things many mamas miss is simply being able to lay comfortably face down.

With a properly designed prenatal massage table and the right training, many pregnant clients can safely lay face down during their session. This position can help relieve pressure in the low back, hips, and pelvis while allowing the body to fully relax.

I’m trained and specialized in prenatal massage, and creating a safe, supportive space for moms-to-be is something I truly love.

The earth softens.

My favorite part of being a massage therapist?

✨ I don’t have to wear shoes all day. ✨

While y’all are out here fighting for your life in stiff boots and business casual torture devices… I’m barefoot and thriving.

But also, it’s deeper than comfort.

Being barefoot literally helps with:
• Better proprioception (body awareness)
• Stronger foot muscles
• Improved posture
• Feeling more grounded + present

Turns out taking off your shoes is low-key nervous system regulation. Who knew?

Grounded feet. Grounded energy. Better sessions.

Let’s talk about something that sneaks up on a lot of us… anterior pelvic tilt. 😬

Basically, it happens when your hip flexors (the muscles at the front of your hips) get tight and pull your pelvis forward. This can cause:
• Lower back tightness
• A tucked or rounded glute area
• That little “pooch” in your belly you can’t seem to shake
• Poor posture or discomfort when standing or walking

The good news? Stretching and releasing your hip flexors regularly can help! Even 5–10 minutes a day can make a huge difference in posture, back comfort, and glute engagement. 🍑

If you sit a lot, stand a lot, or train your glutes consistently but feel like something’s “off,” this is probably why.

✨ Tip: Focus on deep, slow stretches, and breathe into the hips. Don’t rush it, your body needs time to reset.
