The giant sequoias of California are nothing short of awe inspiring. If you have not gone, please put it on the list! We started in Yosemite and saw the Grizzly Giant (probably the biggest tree I’ve ever been that close to in real life) and the 5 Guardians of the Grove, drove through the Sierra National Forrest (actually so many National Forrests and parks are all stacked up here!), saw the foot hills and even some snowy peaks as well as snow on our drives and hikes! Saw leaves changing, fire damage, new growth, desert landscapes craving rain, fruit trees, palm trees, rocks and boulders. Got to ride horses through 600 acres of land that was a stage coach stop and also hosted President Roosevelt, back in the day. Also saw Roosevelt’s Tree, Grant’s tree, Tunnel Rock (humans can walk through giant boulders that fell in a “tunnel”), Tunnel Log (cut into a fallen Sequoia long long ago so cars could drive through), chipmunks and grey squirrels, a few deer but no bucks or bears. I wanted to drive through a tree (check ✔️), stand in a tree (check ✔️), re:Connect with nature (check ✔️), spend time with my honey bunny (check ✔️), and re:set my small business owner cup-o-giving with a little bit of dis:Connect from the grid.

We are so thankful to have gotten to go on this trip, and so grateful to have our home, dogs and businesses to come back to!

✨ I have some exciting updates to share! ✨

When I started re:Connect Bodyworks in 2023, I set my rates on the low side so I could get things rolling. Since then, I’ve been blessed with a wonderfully full practice (thank you 💚). As things have grown, I’ve also realized how important it is to keep my schedule sustainable so I can take care of you while also taking care of me.

Beginning Oct. 1, 2025, my updated rates will be:
💆‍♀️ 60 min – $90
💆‍♀️ 75 min – $110
💆‍♀️ 90 min – $130
💆‍♀️ 120 min – $170
✨ Shorter targeted sessions (30 & 45 min) will stay available for urgent needs or specific focus work.

These changes bring my prices in line with the level of care and time I put into each session, and they allow me to keep showing up fully for all of you. My goal has always been to help you feel your best — and this step helps ensure I can keep doing that long into the future.
