We had a fantastic Cinco de Mayo celebration! 🎉

Mariachi Los Reyes de Wichita entertained us with excellent mariachi music that made the day extra special.

Chef Jason and the Culinary Team created an outstanding meal featuring delicious chicken enchiladas, Mexican rice, and churros. Thank you to everyone who helped make the celebration such a wonderful event!

Fun Fact: While Cinco de Mayo is widely celebrated in the United States as a way to honor and appreciate Mexican culture and heritage, in Mexico it is primarily observed in the state of Puebla, commemorating the Mexican victory at the Battle of Puebla.

Thank you to all of the wonderful ladies who attended our Mother’s Day Lunch on Friday.

We enjoyed beautiful music by Peter Abood, a delicious three-course meal prepared by Chef Jason and the Culinary Staff, and an all-around amazing time celebrating the fabulous mothers here at The Regent.

Pictionary is always a hit and a great way to spark some laughter! 🎨

Last Friday’s happy hour came with a twist - we turned it into a comedy hour! Residents brought their best jokes and plenty of laughter filled the room.

While some were ready to take center stage, we discovered that putting a microphone in front of a few folks can lead to a little stage fright!

Still, the smiles, chuckles, and shared moments made it a truly memorable time for everyone.
