I’d like to thank everyone at Kansas Surgery and Recovery. I was there yesterday for surgery, was scared and nervous. Everyone I came in contact with was so nice and put me at ease. They listened to me, respected my choices. My pre-op nurse was amazing. My CRNA was so sweet, told me right before I was put under “we’re all here, we’re staying with you, we’re going to keep you safe”. My post-op nurse was also amazing, my symptoms were well-managed. The whole process was so streamlined, I was very impressed. And, of course, you can never go wrong when your ob/gyn is Dr Laura Whisler!!! Thank you all again!!! ❤️

THANK YOU!
You helped to make a difference for those in need of blood!
The American Red Cross urges blood and platelet donors to give now and help fight the potential impact of seasonal illnesses and a potentially severe flu season on the blood supply.

When seasonal illnesses increase, the number of healthy donors tends to decrease, leaving the Red Cross blood supply vulnerable to a potential shortage over the holidays. Donors − especially those with type O blood and those giving platelets − can help bolster the blood supply now by making an appointment to give in the coming weeks.
Thank you for hosting the Kansas Surgery and Recovery blood drive on April 25th. The blood drive had a goal of 13 pints, you collected a total of 16 whole blood pints. We had 18 donors register, 2 donors were deferred. We appreciate your support!
On behalf of the patients and their families, thank you for being a part of this unique community partnership. We appreciate you and look forward to our next drive together. Please reach out if you have any questions or additional feedback about your blood drive. Thank you again for everything you did to make your blood drive a success!
