Please be advised that West Wichita Family Physicians PA will no longer be in network with Ambetter Health Insurance, effective February 11, 2026.

Ambetter Health Insurance is purchased through the Health Insurance Marketplace. Our contract with this insurance company will terminate on February 11, 2026.

It is imperative that you understand the healthcare rules and your responsibilities.

If you are on Medicaid and have a marketplace plan, please call your agent immediately. The consequences of not doing so can cost you deeply.

Other changes will also impact those for 2026....Be sure to make an appointment now for Open Enrollment which begins November 1, 2025 - December 15, 2025.

Don't be fooled by scam calls or those who still knock at the door to discuss Medicare. Ask for credentials, don't be scared to tell them you have an agent and never let anyone in the house that you do not know.

These seem like logical tips, but you would be surprised how people can easily get coaxed. Loneliness is something we all experience and some prey on that.

We, here at Design Benefits, LLC, never ask for money or knock at your door unless requested. We will not call you unless we need to discuss an issue or schedule a time to meet.

If you are lonely or just need someone to talk to we are here at the office all day! We are always glad to see a member walk into the door!

Medicare Scams:

It's important to know the signs of a Medicare scam so you can protect yourself. To get your personal information, like your Medicare number, scammers may call, text and email saying things like:

"You need to activate or renew your Medicare card."

"We'd like to send you a free genetic testing kit."

"Medicare has authorized us to send you a free (knee, back or elbow) brace."

"You qualify for a refund on your Medicare costs."

Remember, never give your Medicare card or number to anyone except your doctor or people you know should have it.
