Kansas Kids Heart Center Serving the cardiac needs of patients from fetus life through young adulthood Mott Children’s Hospital, Colorado Children’s Hospital and others.

❤Our practice specializes in Pediatric Cardiology that is the field of caring for patients born with congenital (inborn) heart defects and Pediatric Electrophysiology that is the field of caring for young patients with heart rhythm (electrical) problems.

❤We take care of:
ღ Pregnant moms that need fetal echocardiogram (sonogram of their baby’s heart)Pregnant moms that are born with congenital he

art defects or had heart surgeries as a child
ღ Newborns and children born with congenital heart problems or had heart surgeries
ღ Children, young teens and adults with any acquired heart problems or concerns such as heart murmur, chest pain, palpitation, syncope, heart racing, increased fatigue
ღ Young athletes that need cardiac clearance to participate in sports
ღ Adults with history of congenital heart defects or who had prior heart surgeries (age is no limit)
ღ Performing procedures such as echocardiogram, fetal cardiogram, cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, pacemaker or defibrillator care or placement.

❤Our physicians have had training in some of the best centers that care for children with heart problems (Boston Children’s Hospital, Milwaukee Children’s Hospital).

❤We collaborate with some of the best cardiac centers in the nation to take care of our patients such as Boston Children’s Hospital, C.S.

4-fold increased risk for COVID-19–related hospitalization and a 10-fold increased risk for COVID-19–related death in persons with Down syndrome, a group that is currently not strategically protected.

More research is needed in the Down syndrome pediatric population and more risk stratification is needed in complex congenital heart patients as well.
