MSSC member Justin Sandall, DO, spoke to KSN TV about the importance of a prompt response to a possible stroke. “If you start to have some of these symptoms, do not downplay them. Do not think, ‘I’m going to go to sleep and I'll be better tomorrow,'” he said. “We see that time and time again, where patients come in, but now they’re outside of the window where we can potentially intervene.” Ascension Via Christi

Psychology and mental wellness discussions are highlighting how forgiveness may affect the brain and body in surprisingly powerful ways.

Researchers say letting go of long-term resentment and chronic anger can reduce emotional stress, improve mental clarity, and help the nervous system return to a calmer state over time.

Scientists explain that ongoing stress and unresolved emotional conflict can keep cortisol levels elevated for long periods. High cortisol is linked to anxiety, sleep problems, inflammation, fatigue, and increased strain on the nervous system and cardiovascular health.

Studies suggest forgiveness practices may activate brain regions connected to empathy, emotional regulation, and stress reduction. Researchers have also observed lower bl*od pressure, reduced anxiety, and improved emotional well-being in people who practice healthy forms of forgiveness and emotional processing.

Mental health experts emphasize that forgiveness does not mean accepting harmful behavior or avoiding boundaries. Instead, it may help reduce the emotional burden carried by chronic stress and unresolved pain.

Wireless earbuds you wear for hours every single day are silently exposing your brain to levels of electromagnetic radiation scientists are only beginning to seriously investigate.

Researchers and bioelectromagnetics scientists are raising urgent concerns about the prolonged daily use of Bluetooth wireless earbuds including AirPods, which sit directly inside the ear canal positioned millimeters away from brain tissue. Unlike traditional wired headphones, wireless earbuds emit radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation continuously throughout their entire period of use.

A landmark petition signed by over 250 scientists and submitted to the World Health Organization specifically highlighted growing concerns about the biological effects of chronic low level electromagnetic field exposure from devices worn in such close and sustained proximity to the human brain.

Studies investigating radiofrequency radiation exposure have identified potential biological effects including increased oxidative stress in neural tissue, disruption of the blood brain barrier integrity, and interference with normal cellular calcium signaling mechanisms inside brain cells.

Scientists strongly emphasize that definitive long term human studies are still actively ongoing and that current evidence remains preliminary rather than conclusive, making precautionary reduction of unnecessary prolonged earbuds use a reasonable and sensible personal health decision.

"Nearly a third of physician practices are using AI scribes and others are working to add the tool, in an effort to cut down on administrative work."

Your doctor might ask to have an AI tool listen during your next appointment. If you opt in, you will likely get more of your doctor’s attention. But the technology is not perfect. Here’s what to know.
