💐 Each year, we set aside a special week to celebrate our amazing residents and associates and the role that skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities play in senior care.

We care for those who cannot care for themselves. We help rehab patients recover from illness or injury. And we do it all in a series of many moments... ☺️

From assisting a resident with getting dressed in the morning to providing meals, activities, medication administration, help with activities of daily living, and therapy as appropriate, our associates work together to create a full experience of care.

Join us this week as we celebrate with a variety of fun activities! 🎉

🪇 We had a fiesta to remember at Life Care Center of Wichita! 🎉

🌮 Our Cinco de Mayo celebration was nacho average party — we’re taco-ing about walking tacos piled high, homemade salsa with just the right kick, and guacamole so good it disappeared faster than you can say “ole!” 🥑

Residents and employees shared plenty of laughs (and maybe a few extra helpings), proving once again that good food + great company = the perfect recipe for fun. 😋 We’re pretty sure the only thing stronger than our salsa was the sense of community! 💛

A little creativity can go a long way! 💐

Residents at Life Care Center of Wichita enjoyed a fun arts and crafts activity creating May Day baskets using colorful paper and tissue paper. Each handmade basket was filled with care, creativity, and a touch of springtime cheer. 😊 These special creations were shared throughout our Memory Care neighborhood, spreading smiles and reminding others that even the simplest gestures can make a meaningful impact. It’s all part of the special care we’re proud to provide—nurturing creativity, connection, and community every day. 🌸
