Making your baby registry or stocking your nursery for the new arrival?

This will give you an idea of how many of each basic item you will need.

I’m fairly minimalist but there are some things you don’t want to be caught without - after all, babies are quite messy 😂

Consider how many times per day each item will be used, and how often you do laundry, to determine how many to stock the nursery with!

Your baby’s first cold…it was bound to happen sometime, but it sure does tug on your heartstrings to hear them struggle with snot.

Here are 3 things you can do to help your baby recover from a cold faster:

1. Use breast milk or saline to loosen mucus and soothe crusty noses first before suctioning.

2. Use a snot sucker or bulb syringe to extract the loosened mucus- just make sure to avoid doing so directly after a feeding, as your baby may cough and spit up all the milk you just worked so hard to provide!

3. Use a cool mist humidifier in your baby’s sleep area. This helps prevent the mucus from hardening so your baby can sleep better with less coughing or choking.

Give alll the snuggles and baby will soon be back to 💯 🥰

Postpartum daytime shifts can include: infant care; light household care such as bottles, dishes, laundry, and vacuuming; conversation and emotional support; support for breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding; organization; and education on a variety of topics such as sleep routines, infant health and safety, bathing, diapering, baby wearing, etc.

Overnight newborn care shifts can include: infant care; healthy sleep routines; bottles and baby laundry 🥰
