August is a busy month for anniversaries here!
🎉Today we celebrate 6 years of Parker being with us full-time!🎉

She started out as a Optometric Technician part-time in 2018 and then moved to Director of Patient Relations in August of 2019.

Over the years her favorite thing about working at The Eye Gallery has stayed consistent - every day is different! She loves that she never knows what is in store for the day! “I’m constantly learning every day, making my job so interesting!”

Something she’s learned this past year is Optometry-Based Spanish! She’s had the wonderful opportunity to learn Spanish so that we can provide translation services for scheduling, buying glasses, and exam work ups for our Spanish speaking patients. She’s still learning but we’re excited to now offer this service!

🎉Today is Taya’s one year anniversary at The Eye Gallery!🎉

Her favorite thing about working at The Eye Gallery is our amazing team! She said, “We are always there for each other no matter what, and they make coming into work so amazing!”

This past year she learned the effectiveness of IPL on treating dry eyes - seeing firsthand the positive impacts of the treatment from start to finish. Patients feel substantially better after their final treatment and she loves to see the improvements her patients make each time they come in for a session.

Taya has over four years of experience in the optometric field and we love getting to see her continuously learn and grow within it!

✨Parker’s staff pick for August✨

She chose the Morel 10220O in Brown. These frames are specifically designed to be lightweight and durable, while still bringing hints of color and flare to a classic style. Morel puts intention into the details in their company to reduce their waste and production - any unusable or defective frames are put back into the production line to be 100% recycled! We brought them on about three years ago now and it has been a hit!

Celebrating two years of Trevon today🎉

Their favorite thing about working at The Eye Gallery are the opportunities provided to stay up to date on technology within the optical field and being able to translate that knowledge into improvement in clinical judgment and patient care.
This past year they’ve learned how to refract and have gained advanced troubleshooting skills for contact lenses!

We are so lucky to have someone as dedicated to excellent patient care, like Trevon is, on our team!

Why do I need an eye exam every year if my vision hasn’t changed?

August is National Eye Exam Month and there is SO much more to an eye exam than just checking your prescription. Your eyes are truly a window into the body and by examining the structures within your eye, Dr. Baldwin and Dr. Nola are able to detect many things that can cause visual issues, including vision loss, as well as systemic issues that could be effecting other parts of the body - even if you aren’t experiencing any symptoms. The eye has many delicate structures that need to be monitored year over year to ensure everything is functioning properly and healthily. If changes are detected, by taking preventative measures and getting your eyes checked every year, Dr. Baldwin and Dr. Nola can treat any issues quickly and effectively!

Hailey is one of our Vision Therapists at - she picked a Ray-Ban for her staff pick!

Ray-Ban was established in 1937 and has been a familiar name ever since! They are known for their classics such as The Clubmaster, The Wayfarer and The Aviator. They have a variety of wearable options like the Elliot pictured here. This frame is a pretty light green and surprisingly lightweight! It comes in a lot of color options and everyone has been loving the look of it!

Ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality and precision in their glasses is of the upmost importance to us.

A pair of glasses will move through multiple check points during the fabrication process. Once they arrive at our office, they undergo a final inspection to ensure the finished product meets our standards.

We care deeply about providing accurate, high quality eyewear to our patients in a timely manner and we work diligently with our labs to ensure our patients are well taken care of!

We offer a Blue Light Package to help protect your eyes from excessive screen use. Blue-violet light can cause eye fatigue and disrupt your circadian rhythm. It’s important to protect your eyes and maintain comfort throughout your day!
