DSSW is turning the big 2-0! While the organization has been around for a little over 30 years, we became officially recognized in the state of Kansas in 2006. We're inviting EVERYBODY to join us to say happy birthday, as we toast into a bright future.

It's World Down Syndrome Day (3/21) Day! We're excited to spread awareness and share about the individuals who rock the extra chromosome!

Down syndrome is the most common chromosomal disorder in the US, affecting 1 in 600 babies. The Down Syndrome Society of Wichita provides support for individuals, families, networks, providers and others. We do this through vital programming and connectivity with area resources.

📢 This just in: Congratulations to the 30 recipients of The Good Life in Wichita by the Wichita Wagonmasters Fund at WF👏🎉

The 2025 Wagonmasters Downtown Chili Cook-off raised $30,000 to assist nonprofits. The total gift will be distributed to support various local programs such as youth programs, health and wellness services, food access efforts, educational resources, support for veterans and underserved populations and more.
