Have you ever wondered what it’s like to come in for an exam? Here’s what to expect.

You’ll be warmly welcomed by one of our friendly patient coordinators, who will help get you checked in and comfortable. Once you’re checked in, someone from the clinical team will guide you back and gather the necessary information and imaging for Dr. McLaren to review.

After reviewing all of your data, Dr. McLaren will complete a comprehensive clinical evaluation. He will then walk you through his findings and, if treatment is recommended, discuss personalized treatment options with you.

Take the first steps to start feeling better! Call us at 316-263-2444.

In adults, based on an 8 hour night, an Apnoea Hypopnoea Index of under 5 means up to 39 airway collapse or choking events are labelled “normal”.

Forty events?
Now it is a disease.

Physiology does not work in neat cut offs.

Each airway collapse causes a surge in stress hormones, a drop in oxygen, a micro arousal of the brain and fragmentation of sleep. The body does not know or care whether it is the 39th or the 40th event.

If an adult choked every 12 minutes while awake, no one would call that normal.

Numbers do not define health.
Breathing quality does.

Today we’re celebrating a major milestone: 10 incredible years with our incredible Office Manager, Tida!

It’s hard to put into words just how much she means to our team, our patients, and the overall success of our office. She began her journey with us as a clinical assistant, and because of that, she understands the ins and outs of our office - from the back to the front - better than anyone. That unique experience has made her not only an exceptional leader but also an irreplaceable resource to everyone she works with.

Whether she’s helping a patient understand their treatment plan, answering questions with clarity and compassion, or supporting our team behind the scenes, she does it all with unmatched knowledge, patience, and grace. She has a calm, steady presence that lifts everyone up, and she’s always the first to offer a helping hand. She is truly the glue that keeps our office running.

We always joke about putting a “Do Not Disturb (Unless It’s an Emergency... or a Question... or Literally Anything)” sign on her desk because she’s constantly being pulled in a million directions, and somehow still manages to handle it all with a smile (and maybe a strong cup of coffee)! ☕😄

Her leadership style is rooted in empathy, teamwork, and integrity. She brings out the best in those around her and leads by example every single day. She’s a problem-solver, a motivator, a trusted mentor, and a true leader for our office family.

Tida, we are so lucky to have you. Thank you for a decade of excellence, dedication, and heart. You’ve helped shape this office into what it is today, and we are all better because of you. 🤍

Here’s to you and to many more years of continued success, laughter, and teamwork!

Happy Work Anniversary, Layne! 🎉

It’s hard to believe it’s been over half a decade since you joined our team. From day one, you’ve made such a positive impact — greeting patients as the first point of contact with your bright and bubbly personality, and then caring for them in the back as a kind clinical assistant.

Over the years, you’ve dedicated yourself to learning and growing — from mastering the anatomy of the head and TMJ to understanding how it impacts sleep and overall health. Your skill set truly goes unmatched, but beyond your talents, it’s the compassion, warmth, and dedication you bring every single day that make you such an invaluable part of our team. Today we celebrate you, your journey, and all the ways you’ve helped us grow together.
