Hot, warm, or unheated yoga isn’t about pushing harder; it’s about choosing what supports you today.
Forced air heat warms the space, not your body directly, which means you stay in control of the experience.
Temperature shapes sensation, not worth or ability.
And those sensations can change from day to day, body to body, and even season to season.
I personally love hot yoga; it makes me feel warm, cozy, and I enjoy the added challenge.
And at the same time, most of my personal practice happens at home, unheated, simply because that’s what’s accessible and sustainable.
Both are valid.
Both offer something different.
Neither is better.
What matters most is that the practice meets you where you are.
Save this for later and if you ever want help choosing what fits you right now, I’m always happy to talk 🤍
