Studio Update
Hello!
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their summer. I’ve been using this time to take care of my unfinished business. 🤗 As many you know, I lost my mother and had surgery, then threw myself back into my job, not really having dealt appropriately with either. This time has been eye opening and healing for me.
I’ve made the very difficult decision to close my studio. My lease is up September 1 and there are many things occurring right now that I felt it might be best to take a break.
I was hoping to reopen at some point but I’ve remained concerned about students and staff. I also have a lung condition that puts me in a risky category and being one of the only teachers teaching, I didn’t feel it was wise.
Also, in the last month my husband found out that he will need extensive spinal surgery. He’s doing well but he needs to get this done so he can feel better. We’re not sure when the surgery will be, which also caused me to pause and be concerned about opening. I didn’t want to open, to have to leave and care for Tom.
So I am going to take a break to be there for my husband and let Covid 19 move on through. But honestly, Tom is my world and it’s exactly where I need to be. It’s probably time I gave him my undivided attention🤗♥️
I’m not done teaching, exploring and evolving by any stretch of the imagination! I’ve used this time to explore so many trainings and this has inspired me to work nonstop on new concepts and approaches in embodiment, yoga, movement and healing.
I’m so grateful to each and everyone of you who have supported us and been a part of our lives. Not seeing all of you is what I’m most sad about!! This is difficult but I know it’s only temporary! I have so much more to do and so much more to share!
I have great love and respect for all of you!
With sincere gratitude,
Katerina
