Our Story

Connecting Families LLC supports and trains parents, families, and the professionals that serve them. We want all children, especially those with intense emotions, to realize and reach their true potential. We help them develop the skills they need to thrive physically, emotionally, and mentally.

We believe a parent is a child’s first and most important teacher and know it can be difficult to parent an emotionally intense child. We also believe professionals play a role in supporting parents. There are strategies that work with intense and strong-willed children and that is what we teach at Connecting Families LLC.

We offer coaching and parenting groups for parents; consulting and staff workshops for professionals, yoga, and mindfulness classes for communities and therapy for children, adolescents and adults. Would you like to learn more?
