Dear valued N&DMA clients and friends.
It's been a long, hot minute since I posted last.
I've had many life changes for me over the last 16 months,
so much is different for me and my life, both good and bad.
Last year, I almost lost my life, and had an 8 day hospital stay to recover from emergency surgery.
Prior to that, I had a heart ablation to correct my A-Fib,
and unfortunately, it did not work.
I am still experiencing heart arrhythmias and an occasional ER visit.
So goes life.
I've been massaging since 1999, professionally since 2006.
I have had a genuine passion for healing my fellow humans,
and not one person can say any different.
So in saying that, I am so very, very sad to say that my time as a full-time LCMT, is slowly coming to an end.
I have already cut out all new male clients,
and about 95% of my regular male clients.
My mental health in putting up with the disgusting sexual abuse,
whether it was verbal, or touch, texting vile comments to me after hours, or men leaving their DNA on my massage table for me to clean up, was GREATLY affected.
So much so, that I had a mental breakdown.
I just can't take it anymore.
So, as much as I hate to admit it, they broke me.
My genuine love, care, and passion to heal, is pretty much gone,
and unfortunately, it's not just for men, but for helping in general.
(Damn, this pains me to say )
Out of THOUSANDS of clients I've had over the last 13 years,
I am down to 8 that I see on the regular.
And I am ok with this.
I have decided to keep the number low for other reasons,
such as my physical health.
Here are some changes I have made within my massage business:
I am no longer providing mobile services for any new clients.
If I am mobile to you already, my mobile fee is $35 on top of the massage fee, no matter the distance.
Whether you have your own set-up or not, and whether we had a prior agreement, this change is for EVERY client.
If you have not booked with me in at the very least the last 4 months, my massage therapy fees from March 8th onward are as follows.
70 mins-$85
90 mins-$100
2 hours-$140.
I've had these fees since 2019, so, I am not price gouging.
I am so grateful for the clients who have kept me in business,
who were consistent, generous when times got tough for me,
and have trusted me with their bodies, spirits, and health.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
