If you, as a parent, are not ACTIVELY monitoring your childs screen time IT IS YOUR FAULT!
It is the job of a parent to protect and prepare their children for the world.
The world is changing at a breakneck pace (FYI, Chiropractors can help with those pesky neck pains 😉) but us parents still have to BE PRESENT AND INVOLVED!
Yes, getting the kids off the devices sucks sometimes...
It is so much easier to do what I want when they are subdued and stuck drooling looking at those magical blue lights.
But if we as parents DO NOT INTERVENE we are setting our kids up for a lifetime of issues.
We know better.
We can do better.
So,
Go out there and be that annoying parent!
Most viewed this week from JAMA Pediatrics: More screen time is associated with more depressive symptoms, potentially due to shorter sleep and worse white matter organization during early adolescence.
