Lost a good friend the other day and he was a good friend, but me not so much.
I always thought about him and told myself I'll give him a call one of these days.
Time flew and one of these days is now gone. My wife and his wife talked over time, but I never made those calls...
Now he will never know how good of a friend he was to me. If only I called as many times as I thought about our times back in the day. His jokes, the stories, the work outs.... I loved him like an older brother. He is now missed. The grief I feel is my own doing, I'll miss you Steve, and we will meet again in heaven.
PS; Don't procrastinate my friends...
