Front Desk/Reception Job description
Qualifications:
1. High School Graduate or equivalent

2. Detail oriented and strong ability to track tasks and follow through on duties

3. Excellence in customer service and teamwork

4. Excellence in phone etiquette, greeting individuals, and providing information in person and on the phone

5. Proficiency in navigating the internet, using Windows suite programs

6. Ability to multi-task and use time efficiently

Duties:
1. Greet and direct patients to appropriate area or staff in a timely manner

2. Schedule and check-in patients on computer system

3. Communicate with physicians’ offices via phone and fax regarding patient care, documentation, and scheduling

4. Collect copays and deductibles as necessary prior to patient treatment

5. Answer and handle multiple phone lines, including triaging phone calls to appropriate personnel

6. Contact patients to schedule appointments, follow-up on no-shows/cancellations

7. Communicate with physical therapists regarding scheduling of patients, information received from physician offices

**Prefer someone with experience in customer service, reception position or medical office, but will to train if right person presents.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
