NEW PROGRAM! Phone Pal is a telephone reassurance program designed to help reduce loneliness by connecting older adults with a volunteer to provide a friendly chat. The program utilizes a phone system that allows volunteers to connect with the people they support with one phone number. Conversations are meant to be fun and engaging, helping to provide social ties to lessen isolation and loneliness. Participants must live in Lake County and be 60 years or older. What an amazing young man!

The children will lead us! 7-year-old Cavanaugh Bell is using his savings to make care packages for seniors and feed students amidst the coronavirus pandemic, Fox 29 reports. The Maryland youth used $600 that he saved from Christmases and birthdays to help some of the people experiencing hardships.....
