🧴 Tips to Stay Safe in the Sun

✅ Wear sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher, broad-spectrum)
✅ Use protective clothing: hats, sunglasses, long sleeves
✅ Avoid direct sun between 10 AM and 4 PM
✅ Stay in the shade whenever possible
✅ Ask your pharmacist (John, Alex, or Allison) if your medication increases sun sensitivity. 💊 Medications That Can Increase Sun Sensitivity

You may be at risk if you take medications like:
• Diuretics: Furosemide (Lasix), Hydrochlorothiazide (Hydrodiuril)
• Antibiotics: Ciprofloxacin (Cipro), Levofloxacin (Levaquin), Doxycycline (Vibramycin), Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim (Bactrim)
• Pain relievers: Ibuprofen (Motrin), Naproxen (Aleve), Celecoxib (Celebrex)
• Allergy meds: Diphenhydramine (Benadryl)
• Antinausea meds: Promethazine (Phenergan)
• Birth control pills
• Acne treatments: Isotretinoin (Accutane), Tretinoin (Retin-A)
• Diabetes meds: Glyburide (Micronase), Glipizide (Glucotrol).
