We are thrilled to announce our 2025 Employee of the Year, Valerie! Each year during Nursing Home Week, we recognize and select our Employee of the Year. This award is given to a staff member who really embodies the mission and values of Azalea Garden’s Nursing Center, and is chosen from the prior year’s Employee of the Month Recipients.
Valerie is a longtime employee of Azalea Gardens. For the last 26 years, she has cared for our residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Currently, she works at the transportation aide. She brings residents to and from medical appointments and community events. Being a trusted part of our residents’ care is special to Valerie. She is an incredible worker and will do whatever is asked by her supervisors. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with her family – especially her sons.
This dedication to our residents is exactly why Valerie was chosen for Employee of the Year! During our annual company picnic, we presented Valerie with her award and a gift basket full of her favorite things! We are so thankful to have you on our staff, Valerie!
