Our Memorial team laced up for the Tunnel to Towers and showed their support for an incredible cause. Alongside the runners, our GME residents volunteered their time by providing medical attention throughout the event, making sure the community was cared for every step of the way. We are proud of our team’s dedication to service in the community.

Yesterday, our Neonatology team at Memorial Hospital Gulfport showed what true dedication looks like. Within one hour, five critically ill babies needed immediate care. Our team didn’t hesitate—physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and respiratory therapists came in early, stayed late, and worked side by side to ensure every child received the highest level of care.

“As soon as the calls came, people showed up—an additional neonatologist, an extra NNP, and numerous RNs and RTs. The teamwork and commitment were incredible,” said Dr. Jennifer Caldwell, Neonatologist, who wanted to publicly thank the team for having each other’s backs.

And as it happens, September is NICU Awareness Month—a fitting time to share just how remarkable this team truly is.

Our Memorial team is always learning, practicing, and growing to give the very best care to our community

This week, the MASS Auditorium was full of energy as team members took part in the annual Skills Fair. With each “pit stop” around the building, they refreshed important knowledge, strengthened skills, and worked together across departments.

The Skills Fair is more than training. It is about making sure our team feels confident, prepared, and supported in the care they provide every day.

She’s not just holding a bra. She’s holding a story.

The size may have technically fit, but it never fit her life. The back pain, the shortness of breath, the outfits she stopped wearing because they didn’t feel like her anymore — it all started to weigh on more than just her body.

This journey isn’t just about what you see. It’s about how you feel, how you move, and how fully you can show up in your own life.

Consult with your primary care provider or connect with a plastic surgeon in the area to find relief and confidence through breast reduction surgery and put your well-being first.
