Play
Play is an essential part of a child’s development. Learning through play is how a child makes sense of the world around them. They use their senses to explore, create and imagine in order to grow their communication and developmental skills. Throughout early infancy and early toddler stages, play interaction fosters bonding and security needed for social emotional development. During the preschool age, play fosters creativity and development of their imagination. In early elementary, play-based learning is often overlooked, however, essential for growth in social relationships and educational carry-over.
