Excel Therapy & Conditioning offers a variety of services in order to best suit your needs. From outstanding one on one physical therapy, to therapeutic massage, to strength and conditioning programs for the individual looking to better their game- all the way to the team that doesn’t want to settle for less than the best. Whether you’ve been injured, just need to relax and get rid of that painful spot, or want to perform better than the rest- ETC has what you’re looking for, and it’s all delivered by a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. The goal of ETC is to offer a comprehensive continuum of care whether you; are pre/post operative, are in need of rehabilitation following an injury, desire preventative strength and conditioning, want to improve your body dynamics for that golf swing/throwing arm/etc, want to improve your overall athletic performance to make that Varsity team, or simply want to work towards a healthier, stronger, and fitter you. ETC is here to help you to EXCEL in whatever field it is you want to play on. Feel free to call or email with any and all questions, concerns, or suggestions. ETC is a community based practice and is open to ideas that will help to fulfill community needs.

Some of the EXCEL team at today, giving free chair massages to the participants, survivors, and volunteers of one of western mass’ greatest charities. Thank you to everyone running the event for a job well done on such a massive undertaking. It was an honor to be able to give back and we look forward to doing it again next year!

4 years ago today, after 8 years and in the middle of a global pandemic, we had to close our doors at 65 Post Office Park, just 4 months after completing a massive (and necessary) expansion that started 2020 with us deeply in the red already. But with the help of our community, with YOUR help, a move that should have taken 3 FULL days, turned into cars, trucks, trailers, and helpers lined up around the street ready to help- and in under 3 hours we were settled into our new location. 4 years today, almost down to the hour, EXCEL has called 2826 Boston Rd home, and we couldn’t have done it without you. The only thing outweighing the hands, the hours, and the efforts of everyone involved- is the gratitude I feel, and the gratitude of each and every one of the patients and clients whose lives have been changed for the better because of EXCEL. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart; without you, we would not be here today.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR OWNER, Dr Sara Hulseberg:
It has evidently been 15 years since Northeastern conferred my doctorate. It’s a strange moment of reflection on the passage of time. I remember being 15 years old and knowing I wanted to help injured athletes truly recover, I wanted to be part of the reason someone didn’t give up and wasn’t afraid to play. It felt like it would take forever to be able to finally get there. And here we are now, 15 years of officially being “Doc Hulse”, even longer that I’ve been practicing, and while some moments feel like a lifetime ago, most of it feels like no time at all. I hope I have made 15 year old me proud. I hope that I have been of service to my patients. And I hope that I have helped to be the reason that at least a few people didn’t just refuse to give up, but were able to come back stronger, better, more knowledgeable, and maybe even a bit more confident in who they are.

After an unfortunate hiatus thanks to unexpected post-op issues; SPORTS YOGA IS BACK! Starting back up TONIGHT every Tuesday and Thursday (barring the holidays) 6:30-7:30pm at EXCEL Therapy & Conditioning. All levels of experience are welcome at this upbeat, power-building yoga class. As long as you can stand without assistance and lower yourself to the ground and back up- you’ll be good to go! For those athletes looking for a challenge- we’ve got you covered too! Let’s tone up and limber out before the cold really sinks in, see you tonight!
