Latimer County is forecasted for some serious cold temperatures in the next 3 days, if you or anyone you know needs a place to stay warm the Red Oak Schools are opening their storm shelter for use, the shelters have heat and bathrooms. The SonShine church in Wilburton will also be available as a warming station. Please don't risk the cold, and if you know of any other warming station's please mention them in the comments.

The CFLLC Crew and family represented well this morning at the 27th annual Ryan’s run 5k. This race is held each year in memory of Ryan Luke who lost his life due to child abuse.

Attention Latimer county residents. If you have a child under the age of 18 you can get FREE snack packs from the Wilburton Choctaw Community Center. You DO NOT need to be Native American to receive the snacks. All you have to do is pull up to the front doors of the community center on Mondays between 10 AM -4 PM and let them know how many children you are getting snacks for. They get snack packs and drinks for 7 days!!!
