Inez "Ganny" Robinette, born Zelma Inez Siler on July 30, 1941, in Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, in Wilburton, Oklahoma. Her passing marks the end of a life filled with unwavering faith, boundless love, and a legacy that will continue to shine through the many lives she touched.

From her earliest days in Eufaula to her final moments in Wilburton, Inez lived a life rooted in compassion and guided by her deep devotion to Jesus. Her faith was not just a part of her life—it was the foundation of it. She was an active and beloved member of Red Oak Assembly of God, where her prayers were powerful and her presence unforgettable. Her spiritual influence extended far beyond the church walls; she is remembered as the reason so many came to know Jesus. Whether through prayer or simple conversation, Inez shared her faith with grace and conviction.

Known affectionately as "Ganny," Inez embraced this role not only within her family but throughout her community. Her home was a haven for countless foster children over the years—each one welcomed with open arms and treated as family. To them and many others, she wasn’t just a caregiver; she was Ganny—a source of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love.

Inez is survived by a large and loving family who carry forward her spirit and values. She leaves behind her sister Catheye Wood and husband Bob; brother Mike Siler; brother Rick Siler and wife Peggy. She was preceded in death by Mike’s wife Charlotte. Her father JD Siler and Mother Virginia Delay.

Her legacy continues through her eight children: John David Robinette and wife Peggy; Sheri Parker and husband Paul; Bennie Robinette and wife Tamara; Natia Anderson and husband Josh; Rebekah Moyer; Jessica Smith and husband Michael; and Jacqueline Robinette. She also leaves behind 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren—each one blessed by her unwavering support and joyful presence. She also leaves behind a dear friend and caretaker, Irma Williams, and her family.

Inez had an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel seen and loved. Whether she was out shopping (a favorite pastime she rarely left empty-handed), at the doctor’s office, or simply walking down the street, people were drawn to her warmth. She never met a stranger—only future friends—and had an infectious laugh that could light up any room. Her humor was quick, her hugs sincere, and her door always open. She was witty until her last days.
She loved deeply and without hesitation. Her family knew they had no greater cheerleader than Ganny—she reminded them often how proud she was of each one of them. Her acceptance knew no bounds; every person who crossed her threshold felt like they belonged.

Though words can scarcely capture the full measure of Inez's impact on this world, those who knew her will remember a woman whose heart overflowed with kindness, whose faith never wavered, and whose laughter echoed long after she left the room.

May the memory of Inez "Ganny" Robinette bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know her—and may we honor her legacy by loving as fiercely as she did. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday September 24, 2025 at Red Oak Assembly of God, 400 NW 3rd Street. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd, at Jones Harkins Funeral Home from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Our beloved Rhonda Rae Carpenter died on September 7, 2025.

She leaves behind her husband of 34 years, Mark Alan Carpenter; her son, Graham Davis and wife, Kymberlyn; and Rhonda’s precious granddaughter, Lillian Raeann; and stepsons: Josh and Mikey.

Rhonda and Mark moved from Lake Arrowhead, California to Wilburton, Oklahoma in 2010. It was then she found her pioneer woman heritage, craving to work the land, and growing and preserving food. Her garden was expansive and her summer and fall hours were spent prepping, canning everything and chasing after her chickens. Her kitchen was always busy.

Rhonda’s family and long list of friends will miss her, dearly.

07/14/2025

John Webb, a beacon of joy and love, left this world on July 12, 2025, at the tender age of seven years, eleven months, and 28 days. Born on July 15, 2017, in McAlester, Oklahoma. His departure in Wilburton, Oklahoma, has left a silence that is felt deeply by his family and friends.

John's journey was a testament to the power of love and the magic of music. Though he was mostly non-verbal, John spoke the universal language of tunes and beats. His Spotify account was a treasure trove of Disney melodies that could turn any frown upside down.

At King Elementary School in Van Buren, Arkansas, John held the hearts of his teachers and fellow students. He collected awards and medals like they were going out of style, but the real prize was his presence. John's sweet and loving nature was his superpower, and he wielded it with the finesse of a seasoned superhero.

John's family was his fortress of support and love. He leaves behind his mother and step-father, Kayla Bailey and Josh Medcalf; his father, Michael Webb; his band of brothers and sisters: Landen, Ryker, Wyatt, Nathaniel, Sophia, and Demi; his cheering squad of grandparents: Deborah Van Luven, Stacey and Raymond Kennedy, and David and Karllatta Medcalf; his uncles: Dylan Guess and wife, Jenny, Michael Bailey, and Manny Bailey; his aunt, Ashlynn Kennedy; his god-parents, Natia and Nickalas Hauff; and his honorary papa, Leroy Aaron. Each of them played a unique note in the symphony of John's life.

John now joins his maternal grandfather, John Charles Bailey, in heaven, where the choir has undoubtedly gained a discerning ear for music.

John Webb was the embodiment of pure joy. He was the kind of kid who could teach a masterclass in loving without words, using only smiles and the world's best hugs. His legacy is a reminder that the language of love is the most powerful of all, and that a life, no matter how brief, can be a masterpiece when it's composed of kindness.

So, let's crank up the Disney tunes, and remember John Webb, the little guy who could hug the sadness out of a grumpy cat. His melody will play on in the hearts of those who loved him, forever in perfect pitch.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Dana Hugle officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

Pallbearers will be Michael Webb, Joshua Medcalf, Manny Bailey, Michael Bailey, Dylan Guess, and Nickalas Hauff.

Our Beginnings

Jones~Harkins Funeral Home Wilburton, Oklahoma has a long and proud history of serving Latimer County with compassion and exceptional service. Jones~Harkins Funeral Home began as Abe Lapp Furniture and Hardware Store. The funeral home was operated in a backroom of the hardware store on Main Street. Wiley Burke later purchased the business and built a modern funeral home facility at 201 N. Central. Mr. Burke was joined by his son-in-law Denver Jones of McAlester, OK. After Mr. Burke's death, Denver Jones purchased the business and it became Burke-Jones Funeral Home. Mr. Jones and associate John Otterson worked with the families for many years until 1992 when Mr. Jones sold the location to a corporation due to health reasons. Stephen and Ruth Harkins purchased Jones Funeral Home and it again became an independent, family owned and operated funeral home. The Harkins family added their name and the business became known as Jones-Harkins Funeral Home. In 2005 the funeral home was completely renovated and updated. We are very proud of our funeral home and its long history of caring for the people of Latimer County. It is our desire to serve each family as though they were our own.
