In partnership with West Coast University, we’re proud to announce Jayelyn as the recipient of the scholarship for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

For 16 years, Jayelyn has been a dedicated ICU RN at Southwest Healthcare, earning the respect of colleagues and providing extraordinary, compassionate care to you and your families. 💖

Her dream of becoming a nurse started as a little girl, and today, her family remains her biggest inspiration.

With this scholarship, she’s ready to deepen her knowledge, grow professionally, and continue making a difference in our community.

During a recent visit, a patient received such compassionate care she had this to share.

"After my surgery, I was given a colostomy bag that made me feel in shock, embarrassed, sad, scared, every emotion I can think of, I felt. But Elizabeth helped me overcome all those feelings. I was treated with kindness, respect and a lot of comfort and peace.

"Every day, seeing Elizabeth come to work while I was admitted brought a big smile to my face because I knew I was in good hands. I also knew that any questions, even if I asked it 100 times repeatedly, she would still answer me truthfully and respectfully. She went above and beyond in my care."
