My favorite burger recipe on National Burger Day!!

Bacon BBQ Star Sliders
Sliders are a great dish to serve at your 4th of July gatherings and these will add an extra patriotic touch

Ingredients
1½ pounds 85% lean ground beef
1 (2.8 ounce) package crispy fried onions
1 teaspoon Ultimate Steak™ Seasoning
½ cup Smoky Bacon BBQ Sauce
6 mild Cheddar cheese slices, cut into star shapes
6 pepper jack cheese slices or other white cheese, cut into small star shapes
12 slider buns, toasted
Lettuce, tomato slices
Directions
Prepare grill to medium heat. In large bowl, combine first 4 ingredients. Form into 12 patties.
Place patties on grill. Grill, turning once, until internal temperature reaches 165°F on an instant-read food thermometer, about 6-8 minutes. Top with cheese stars the last 1 minute of cooking.
Place burgers in buns; top with lettuce and tomatoes.
Makes 6 (2 slider) servings.
