Over the next few weeks, our three clinics around Ocala and The Villages will experience a temporary reduction in schedule and capacity as we go through a provider transition. Dr. Thomas L. Johnson II and Josh Jurczak, NP will both be leaving our practice. Dr. Johnson will be available to see patients through September 19.
We’ve taken early action to ensure you have a seamless transition of care with the recent hiring and soon onboarding of two additional Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to our team, Amy Klimek and JoAnna Jensen.

While we actively recruit a new allergist, Board-Certified Allergists from other clinics within the AllerVie Health Network will be overseeing our Advanced Practice Providers to ensure you continue to receive the best care.
Our top priority is your continuity of care and continuing to meet your allergy and asthma needs. During the reduced capacity this summer, patients can schedule appointments (both new and follow-up) at any other AllerVie Florida location.

Beginning in April, the following patient care changes will start.

Earlier this year, we announced that we joined AllerVie Health and would be coming together with another local practice in the AllerVie Health network, Allergy & Asthma Care of Florida.

Coming this April, we will begin providing our services under our new partner’s name, Allergy & Asthma Care of Florida. We are excited for the opportunity to leverage this brand and its resources to expand services, increase access to care, and bring you the latest advances in allergy, asthma, immunology, and clinical research.

When both of our practices finish coming together, we will have three total clinic locations where you can continue to receive care – 1 in Ocala and 2 in The Villages. Effective April 3, you will be able to visit our Ocala location as well!

You can expect the same great patient care with our same local roots, now just part of an exciting national network – and local practice! We are still accepting all major insurance plans, and we will continue to see you here at our offices just as we always have.

We are excited to announce that Allergy Sinus & Asthma Family Health Center has joined AllerVie Health, a national network of board-certified allergists and immunologists who think similarly about patient care and have joined together to change patients’ lives in greater ways than they could individually.

In fact, because of AllerVie’s focus on clinical research, innovation, and expansion of care, we have the opportunity to bring clinical trials, new treatments, and other resources to you and those with allergy needs in The Villages community!

Over the next few months, Allergy Sinus & Asthma Family Health Center will become part of another wonderful allergy practice in the AllerVie Health network, Allergy and Asthma Care of Florida, Inc.. We will be working on merging our operations together, and eventually will begin providing our services under a new name.
