Our residents enjoyed a peaceful and inspiring watercolor journaling activity this week at Cypress Care Center. With brushes in hand and stories in their hearts, they created beautiful pages that combined art and reflection.

Our residents had a wonderful time enjoying live music by Lou Barry, a talented musician with a heart of gold. 💙

Lou began performing in nursing homes when his mother was in a memory care unit, and he’s continued sharing his gift ever since. With a lifetime of experience in bands and studio work, his performance truly struck a chord with everyone! 🎸🎤

One of our talented residents at Cypress Care Center spent her time hand-crocheting beautiful baby blankets — each one made with love, care, and a generous spirit.

She recently donated these precious handmade blankets to Pinnacle Church to help welcome their newest little members into the world.

It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful kindness can be, and how even the smallest stitches can wrap someone in love.

We had a beautiful day filled with love and connection — starting with Bible study led by Fairway Christian Church, followed by some extra-special cuddles from our favorite therapy pup, Mr. Pookie! 🐶💛

Our residents brought their A-game to today’s bean bag toss — and let’s just say, the competition was fierce (and hilarious). 😄

Laughter, a few wild throws, and even some unexpected trick shots made for a fun-filled afternoon. Who knew bean bags could bring out the champions in us?
